Meet the artist Nicola in his workshop and, after a small presentation of his artistic life, he will take you to the places where you will start creating your own personal work of art with watercolors!
Nicola is a Venetian artist, specialized in the art of watercolour, who runs a small shop in the heart of the historic city (a few steps from the Accademia Bridge). He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice and participated in numerous decoration works in important Venetian buildings and monuments such as the Teatro La Fenice, the Hotel Bauer and many others.
The first step of the workshop will be the study of the sketch, an essential starting point for a good painting. Subsequently we will move on to color, discovering how light is also a color, with its wonderful effects on the painting.
During the lesson, the teacher will reveal to you the secrets to obtain the best painting effects such as the reflection of the water, the nuance of colors between the clouds and the sky or the details of light and shadow using the great watercolor technique.
Each participant will create their own personal work of art while admiring the spectacular landscapes of the city.
The lessons are suitable for both beginners and experts and for all those who wish to paint or draw live "en plein air" discovering watercolor techniques.
Let yourself be guided by the expert artist-teacher and you will be able to see the most secret and hidden part of Venice!

- We recommend clothing appropriate to the experience
- This tour is not entirely accessible to people in wheelchairs or with reduced mobility

Duration: approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes (per course).

HOW TO REACH THE MEETING POINT
With the entrance to the Accademia Galleries in front, continue on the right side and walk along "Calle Contarini Corfù" until you find a small bridge on the right. Cross the bridge and continue straight: after a few meters you will find the artist's studio on your right.
